Lesley Sharp

Lesley Sharp (born 1964) is an English actress from Formby, Merseyside. She is best known for various starring roles in British television productions, most notably Clocking Off, The Second Coming and Afterlife.

Sharp was born in Liverpool and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She starred alongside Bill Nighy and Stephen Moore in the acclaimed radio drama Kerton's Story.[1] Her stage credits include a 1982/3 Royal Shakespeare Company production of Macbeth. In 2008, she played the lead character in the play Harper Regan at Royal National Theatre. In September 2008 she appeared alongside Kevin Whately in the ITV1 3-part drama series The Children. She played Petronella van Daan in the 2009 BBC drama The Diary of Anne Frank.

She has two sons.
